ABOUT SIMMONS COLLEGE OF KENTUCKY
Simmons has unveiled more than a dozen new degree programs, including an associate degree in early childhood education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Pre Law, Women and Gender Studies, Martin Luther King Legacy Studies and Environmental Studies as well as a Master of Science degree in Medical Sciences. Also included in the new programs is an associate degree in Teacher Education, designed to help students earn certifications as K-12 teachers in Kentucky schools.
LINKAGE OPPORTUNITIES
Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine, an LCME-Accredited institution with campuses in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and St. Louis, Missouri, offers an MD Program interview to the top 20% of MSMS program graduates in any given MD application year. Those offered an interview must meet the standard minimum admissions requirements for the PHSU MD program.
