ABOUT SIMMONS COLLEGE OF KENTUCKY
Simmons has unveiled more than a dozen new degree programs, including an associate degree in early childhood education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Pre Law, Women and Gender Studies, Martin Luther King Legacy Studies and Environmental Studies as well as a Master of Science degree in Medical Sciences. Also included in the new programs is an associate degree in Teacher Education, designed to help students earn certifications as K-12 teachers in Kentucky schools.

Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine, an LCME accredited institution with campuses in Ponce, Puerto Rico and St. Louis, Missouri, offers an MD Program interview to the top 20% of MSMS program graduates in any given MD application year. Those offered an interview must meet the standard minimum admissions requirements for the PHSU MD program.
