Ponce Health Sciences University School of Medicine, an LCME accredited institution with campuses in Ponce, Puerto Rico and St. Louis, Missouri, offers an MD Program interview to the top 20% of MSMS program graduates in any given MD application year. Those offered an interview must meet the standard minimum admissions requirements for the PHSU MD program.

Bachelor’s degree earned from an accredited institution
2.7 cumulative GPA
24 semester hours (36 quarter units) in the physical and life sciences with a grade of C or better. The following prerequisites will fulfill the 24 semester hour requirement. Accredited online courses are accepted, but students should review the requirements for any future degrees they are seeking.
-8 semester hours (12 quarter units) of biology -8 semester hours (12 quarter units) of chemistry -8 semester hours (12 quarter units) of organic chemistry
