ONE SHORT YEAR. INFINITE MEDICAL PATHWAYS.
The MSMS creates new pathways to medical school and other professional health schools for students who: - Need more science foundations - Are filling a gap year - Aren't ready to apply to MD/ professional health - Need an alternate pathway to MD
The MSMS curriculum parallels the first year of LCME-accredited medical schools, helping graduates often outperform medical school peers.

MORE DATA
Students experience a curriculum that mirrors the same health science material -- and experience -- as the first year of medical school. Every question students are asked is compiled as data to measure individual comprehension and highlight areas they need more focus as well as where they excel.
3
MORE PATHWAYS
While the majority of MSMS graduates go onto medical school, the MSMS serves as a firm medical science foundation to springboard students to other medical pathways. MSMS graduates prepare themselves for further education in dentistry, chiropractic, optometry, pharmacy, and more.
4
MORE OPPORTUNITIES
The MSMS program prepares more students to become healthcare professionals. The top 20% of each MSMS graduating class are eligible to interview at PHSU’s School of Medicine, as well as other opportunities with academic institutions that are part of the Tiber Health Network.
The Tiber Network creates new opportunities for students looking for ways to advance their careers and connects them with our partner academic institutions to find a program that works best for them. Students can filter through partnered universities to find a school that best fits their future goals.
Not every student has a clear pathway if they’re not admitted to medical school. The mission of the Tiber Health Network is to advance MSMS students toward pathways beyond traditional medical school — from clinical academic programs to directly entering the workforce.
